This new edition of PVL, held from 11th to 13th February, will once again be host to some of Spain’s most renown Spanish tanneries as the showcase their latest trends.
Focused on defending the naturalness and sustainability of leather, eight Spanish companies will strengthen – through their exquisitely designed collections – the important role of leather in the fashion industry, and, how, just by its sheer origins, positions its as one of the most natural and versatile materials for the fashion industry.
The ambassadors of the Spanish Tanners – Curtidos Badia, Curtidos Lajara, FC Creació i Inovació, Group Miret Export, Inpelsa, Interleather, La Doma y Riba Guixá, present in this first edition of PVL 2020, Will be showcasing their creations in Hall 3 of the Paris Nort Villepinte Exhibition Center.
These eight Spanish companies, accompanied by the Spanish Tanners Association, will introduce to the highly demanding international audience of PVL their individual collections, where innovation, sustainability and creativity show how natural can become a new natural and as a consequence, strengthening the message that leather is here to stay and will remain an important ally in the 21st century fashion industry, where current trends towards sustainability and responsibility reminds us all of our commitment to continue reducing our environmental footprint whilst generating awareness of Planet Earth’s fragility.
The Spanish Tanners do not wish to rewrite history, but to remind everyone that, through technical and technological advances, recycling a natural residual material does not only help reduce environmental impacts should the recycling process not be implemented, but through this process, generate a unique article of great added value for the fashion industry.
